Posada Belen is located in a fine colonial style home built in 1873 converted into an intimate Museum Inn, centrally located in a quiet street of the historical center of Guatemala City only 2.5 miles from the airport (15 Minutes), run by our family since opened in 1972 to international tourism

Reservation Policy:
A non-refundable 10% deposit with the Tropical Travel Association is required in order to confirm your reservation.
PLEASE NOTE: Posada Belen has special reservation requirements: There is a $15 cancellation penalty for any cancellation made, if the cancellation is made BEFORE 7 days of arrival date there is a one night charge per every room reserved, so please only reserve if you have serious intentions to use the hotel, the Tropical Travel Association reservation fee is also not refundable.

You will be issued an xyzcode, our tracking number. An online copy of your communication with Posada Belen will be saved and accessible anytime. Credit card information is transmitted to our bank's secure server over the internet via an "SSL" connection. SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is essentially computer tech talk for encrypted, locked and certified safe. Our SSL certificate is on the right. Your credit card company gives you additional protection.

Posada Belen was slowly transformed from our home into a very special family inn. Highly recommended in most travel guides and by former guests/friends, over 300 authentic registered Mayan artifacts on display as well as unique antique handicrafts plus many primitive paintings.

How to find us.
Pick up at the International Airport La Aurora, transfer to bus stations ( Antigua, Xela, Panajachel, Flores, Rio Dulce, Puerto Barrios).
